  1. If it is place in the dash board, it act as distraction to the driver thus loosing  concentration which in turn can lead to fatal accident
  2. Also the driver might not be happy if all other passengers are enjoying the movie and he is left out thus causing some sort of wrong emotional altitude towards especially if he hears the noise from the movies yet not watching it.
